A marvelous Ford 1929 Model A Hot Rod for the connoisseur. The latest owner bought it from the long-established hotrod company SO.CAL. It is said to have been built by Magoo´s Street Rods. Richard "Dick Magoo" Megugorac was one of California's greatest hot rod legends and worked during his retirement years in Phoenix Arizona before he passed away in 2016. We found the car in the neighboring city of Tucson in Arizona. This Hi-Boy has a 1929 A Ford Roadster body on 1932 Ford Deuce frame fitted, 32 'radiator mask, Auburn dashboard, hidden disc brakes of Magoo design. The patterned interior by Magoo´'s wife are well known of its design and clear features. The composite body is most likely supplied by Wescott. The front axle is a chrome-plated Super Bell with 4 "drop and chromed" hairpins ". Wheelsmith rims in new condition with reproduced Coker Silvertown" whitewalls ". Wilwood disc brakes at the front. Finned Ford drum brakes at the rear on a Ford 9-inch rear axle. The original instruments have been replaced with gauges from VDO in recent years.The V8 engine is a Chevrolet 350cui with three 2-barrel carburetors and it is said to have been built about 2500 km ago. This hotrod has been on display several times on the well-known L.A. Roadster Show. Admire and let the pictures speak for themselves.
