von Braun´s Review
von Braun Sports Cars presents the first Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole sold new in Sweden, which in 1984 was collected from Ferrari in Modena by Lars Wendel, who later took over the Ferrari agency and established what is today Autoropa. It is thanks to this car that Ferrari themselves added the suffix “Sweden” in the chassis series, which became “Switzerland/Sweden,” as Lasse Bortz managed to register the car as a new model in Sweden using a catalytic converter from Switzerland, as well as by adding headlamp washers. A few months after this 308 was imported to Sweden, tennis legend Björn Borg brought in an identical 308 GTS QV solely because this one was not for sale. All Ferraris sold in Sweden prior to this car were thus European-spec models and lightly used.
Finished in Rosso Corsa with a beige interior and equipped with the large front spoiler and air conditioning. This is a very well-documented car, with its history preserved from new in the form of receipts, photographic documentation, books, and records. All accessories are included, such as the tool kit, jack, vinyl cover for the targa roof, an extra set of TRX tires with original rims (165 TR 390 FH-PR) in excellent condition, all keys, and even the temporary Italian license plates from the journey home.
