THE FERRARI OF BJÖRN BORG!
After six titles in the French Open Championships and 5 Wimbledon titles on hand, Björn Borg was the biggest Swedish style icon and athlete of all times. He had been placed in the hall of fame as the world's most famous tennis player ever in an era when the tennis sport was the most popular and prestigest sport. A glamorous life next to the tennis court had just begun to take shape when this Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole was delivered to Björn Borg on April 2, 1986. The supplier was the the Swedish importer "Europeiska Motorimporten AB" in Vällingby, outside of Stockholm. The 308 GTS Ferrari model was a car model not only driven by our world-renowned tennis player. The most popular TV personality Tom Selleck, who was the main actor in the Magnum series, had already made the car model legendary and immortal. This Ferrari does not only have a particularly strong Provenance. It is also a very fine sample that only has been driven 37,500 km during its 33 year existence. The car is equipped with Air conditioning, the large front spoiler and a tailored bag made by Schedoni for Ferrari and Björn Borg. However, one of the bags had to leave room for Björn's tennis rack and training bag and is therefore missing. The car has been driven very sparingly and gently and continuously maintained and serviced. There is some need for service updates if the next owner has an ambition to drive with the car.
