A well-sorted 1800S that has recently received a completely refurbished B18 engine. The engine overhaul is documented, and we have been informed that the gearbox was also inspected during the course of the work. The car's previous restoration is said to have been carried out by a Volvo specialist. This P1800 leaves a very good impression and runs smoothly in terms of engine, gearbox, and road handling.

The bodywork restoration has been functionally executed to a standard level. Some visible repair and welding work can be found upon closer inspection. The interior has been partially restored, including brand new carpets. The seats show some patina. The car has been nicely repainted during the restoration in its original color "Pearl White 79". The original 5.5-inch wide wheels with hubcaps are in like-new condition. All rubber seals and weatherstripping appear to be new. Chrome trim and moldings are in excellent condition, with a few minor exceptions.

During our quality check, we compiled a list of suggested improvements that a meticulous buyer may wish to address. These mainly concern fitment and details related to mounting and alignment.

For those who appreciate a car that is ready to be driven and enjoyed on the road, this is a solid choice. 1966 was the last year the 1800S was delivered with the beautiful curved “hockey stick” molding along the side of the body, and the elegant steering wheel with two horizontal spokes and the dashboard’s classic instrumentation.

The color combination is the classic white over red interior – just like one of the Saint’s P1800s.

A spare wheel and a weather cover are included with the car.
