Aston Martin Vanquish Volante - The carbon fiber convertible is now official

The legendary Vanquish name has made a comeback. A brand new Vanquish was launched last summer after more than six years of absence, where the DBS model filled the empty place which throughout history has been dedicated to the Vanquish. Last year was launched the Vanquish coupe version was launched and now it's the convertible models time to see daylight, which obviously gets the beautiful name Volante. Volante weighs just nine kilograms more than the standard Vanquish, 1845 kg.

Vanquish Volante gets the same 6.0-liter V12 engine with 573 horsepower and 620 Nm available in the standard Vanquish. The car does 0-100 km / h in 4.1 seconds and the top speed is 295 km / h - just as fast as the coupe.

The explanation for such a quick Volante is as coupé is that it is essentially the same car. Vanquish is constructed of an aluminum and carbon fiber body, Aston Martin's first convertible with carbon fiber body.

The price for this beautiful car will start around €250.000.
